Who’s Behind Fluent in French?

I’ve been where you are – here’s how my journey led me to create a method that truly works.

I teach French. But before that, I had to learn how to learn a language—out in the real world.

A few years ago, I set off to travel the world. I thought my English was pretty good: after all, I had studied it for eight years in school! But from my very first conversations, reality hit me hard: I could barely understand anything, and I didn't know how to express myself.

Despite all those years spent learning grammar rules and doing written exercises, I was stuck. Too afraid to make mistakes. Too embarrassed about my accent. Too many doubts in my head with every word.

So I had to find a new way to learn. A more dynamic, more practical, more personalized method. And it worked! I learned English—and later Spanish—by connecting with people, listening to content I enjoyed, and living the language.

That experience changed everything for me.

My Teaching Method

When I returned to France, I decided to help others learn French, especially those who struggle with traditional methods. I know many English speakers have had a similar experience to mine: years of French at school… but still unable to speak with confidence.

That's why I created a completely different approach: no dry, academic lessons. Instead, I offer interactive sessions that are tailored to your personal interests and goals.

We begin with a free 30-minute discovery session: a chance to meet, talk about your level, your goals, your interests, your struggles… and your strengths!

I take notes and send you a PDF summary after each session.

I share learning materials adapted to your level.

And if you want extra practice, I can provide exercises for self-study.

I truly believe we learn best when we're motivated, curious, and engaged. My goal is to help you live the French language, not just learn it.
